My role as the Lung Diseases Guide for About.com, a New York Times Company, included writing, editing and perform information architecture for all of the content for the Lung Diseases website. Articles covered topics related to lung disease, testing and treatments, respiratory health and medication management.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Researcher; Writer; Presenter
Created a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on the benefits and risks of annual vs. quinquenniel tuberculosis testing. Presented the tuberculosis presentation via web conferencing to NOAA Admirals, Captains and key engineering and medical staff. As requested, the presentation included recommendations for tuberculosis testing of aircraft and fleet staff.
